Orange Marmalade


Why DIY?
Much cheaper than the store bought ones
No bad preservatives and additives
All natural ingredients

Orange Marmalade (with strong flavor)

Ingredients:
2 oranges
2 cups sugar
3 cups water
4 pcs calamansi

Procedure:
1. Slice the orange peels thinly
2. In a food processor or blender, process the orange segments (make sure to remove the seeds)
3. In a sauce pan, combine the processed orange segments, sliced orange peels, sugar, water, and juice of calamansi.
4. Simmer until the orange peel is cooked and the syrup thickened.
5. You may add water if the syrup thickened but orange peel is not yet cooked, then simmer until the peels are cooked evenly.



Orange Marmalade (with sweeter and milder flavor)

Ingredients:
2 oranges
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
4 pcs calamansi

Procedure:
1. Slice the orange peels thinly
2. In a blender, blend the orange segments, sliced orange peels, sugar, water, and juice of calamansi.
4. Transfer the mixture into a saucepan, simmer until cooked and thickened like jam.
5. You may add water if the syrup thickened but orange peel is not yet cooked, then simmer until the peels are cooked evenly.
